John Peel

It’s hard to believe it has been seven whole years to the day since the passing of John Peel. He has to be one of the most
popular and respected DJs and broadcasters in the world. He broke the mould.

He was one of the first to play reggae, punk and hip hop on British radio. Artists whose careers he helped to launch include
Jimi Hendrix, Joy Division,The Undertones,The Smiths and The White Stripes. An absolute legend of a man.
